  Upon cleaning out another cluttered box in a basement room next to the studio, I found a number of interesting and unique artifacts from the Milieu Music catalog. Up for sale here are TWO COPIES of the Beyond The Stars album in an unissued configuration. Following the release of Beyond The Sea in 2006, the bonus Beyond The Stars album that came with early copies of Beyond The Sea was already sold out fairly fast. Initially, I had plans to issue it at Milieu Music on a set of 3" CD-Rs, similar to the way Boltfish issued the Remodelled album a year later, and these two versions of a 5x3" release were produced as prototypes before being scrapped in favor of a factory-printed reissue at SSR. Being prototypes, these sleeves have only white 3" discs inside with the textural/nautical cardstock inserts, and no text or labels are present. In fact, I had totally forgotten what these things were when I found them, and had to load them into a player to determine what was on the discs. A unique artifact from the early days of Milieu Music and SSR!
