about

Analogg Breakfasts is not the new Milieu album, but it is a new Milieu album. A nice sizzling audio fry-up. Everything live on hardware, fumbled over with sleepy hands, one take, no overdubs, "warts and all" as they say. A set of simple and fun electronic tracks for the sheer enjoyment of the act. Perhaps, on some deeper level, this is the Milieu equivalent to something like Coppice Halifax's Bedroom Carpet? It's certainly just as informal and not-produced. So there you have it...Moogs were sufficiently Moogy, Penny was sufficiently Penny and happy times were had by all. Time to go to bed, because I'm going to see Autechre tomorrow!
